Tyler had baseball practice yesterday and was able to hit the ball off of the tee and run each of the bases without his chair. It was very fatiguing for him but it was also really cool. Tyler’s participation at any level in these team sports helps in a myriad of ways. Tyler and his Mom went to another middle school tonight to check out which one he wants to go to. They all have different advantages and disadvantages especially for Tyler because he is handicapped. Some schools are much more advanced with their facilities for the handicapped. Ultimately this will not be the determining factor in where he chooses to go.
Samantha has tried to walk a little now that her left ankle/foot is casted. It is difficult for her because her knee tends to bend backwards but they are teaching her how to combat this in her physical therapy.
This past weekend was the kids big school carnival and Michelle helped with it a lot. Samantha, Luke, and I played all of the games several times and had a good time together.
