Tyler has been having some ballistic movements on his left arm. Dr. Okun thinks that it could be a good sign because he is due this Thursday for reprogramming and this may be a sign that they are in the right area as well as remapping of the brain. We will see. He worked really hard on his math and made two A’s this week on his tests. He applied to his middle schools and we will see which one he chooses and which ones he gets to chose from. He wants a pellet (bb) gun and I think I will let him get it since he is showing responsibility.
Samantha’s occupational therapist says that her left foot is at the point in flexibility that they were hoping for with her range of motion. They are having an orthicist come in and fit her for a permanent brace for her shoe. He has not been wearing her cast because it caused a blister that was sore on the outside of her foot. She was chosen to do the announcements at school this week because she reads so well. She continues to work hard in school and is excited to have a full time aid now. We are keeping an eye on her eating habits although she says she is not having any difficulties, she is only eating softer foods lately.
Luke and I watched the first Star Wars in the trilogy and he now wants to pretend fight with light sabers all the time. I told him that he is Luke Skywalker and has the force on his side. Bad idea because he once thought he was invincible and now he thinks he is both invincible and powerful. That boy is crazy.
